“A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited carrying the President, his wife Rashida Khanam, and his entourage members left London Heathrow Airport at 7:17 pm (London time),” Ashequn Nabi Chowdhury, Minister (Press) at the High Commission of Bangladesh in London, told.

The President was greeted at the airport by top members of the Bangladesh Mission in London and Saida Muna Tasneen, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom (UK), according to the minister of the press. Tomorrow morning, the plane is anticipated to touch down at Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport. Earlier, on October 29, the head of state departed Dhaka for a 16-day trip to Berlin, the capital of Germany.
On November 6, he took a flight from Berlin to London, the capital of the United Kingdom (UK). On November 13, the President was supposed to return to Dhaka. According to a representative familiar with the procedure, the period for the doctors’ advice was subsequently extended until November 17.
President Hamid, who is 78 years old, has had glaucoma for a long time. While he was the Jatiya Sangsad speaker, he used to travel to Berlin and London for periodic health examinations.
