“Our export process would increase its earnings with the aid of the cargo flights and based on demand from the market. We intend to increase the number of flights on the route to five per week,” TAD Group managing director Md. Ashikur Rahman Tuhin said on the occasion.

He claimed that entrepreneurs are currently looking for trustworthy substitutes to import and export goods in order to meet market demand and ensure business continuity. Exports of perishable commodities from Bangladesh will increase as a result of the new cargo service, he noted.
Crabs, RMG, fish, leather, leather goods, and human hair are among Bangladesh’s top exports to South Korea. The Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) estimates that this fiscal year, apparel exports to Korea will total $1 billion, including a variety of goods like underwear, denim, shirts, jackets, and pullovers.
Bangladeshi businesspeople now have a chance to penetrate the Korean market, which currently sources 34% of its clothing from Beijing, as a result of the apparel industry’s increasing migration out of China due to rising costs. According to data from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh’s share of the Korean clothing market has been increasing but slowly since 2017, and it finally reached a little over 4% in FY22 with export revenues of $440 million.
