“Following the direction of the chief justice, the authorities concerned have been asked to strengthen security at all the courts across the country so that no untoward incident takes place there,” Supreme Court spokesperson Md Saifur Rahman told.

According to the chief of the Dhaka Metropolitan DB Police, Harun-Or-Rashid, who verified the incident to BSS, the two death row inmates were abducted by four individuals travelling on two motorcycles at around noon. He added that there is a campaign to find the militants who were kidnapped.
