Bahauddin Nasim made AL local govt nomination board member, Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim has been made member of the party’s Local Government Nomination Board. The information was disclosed tonight in a press release signed by the party’s Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.

“I am extending my heartiest thanks and gratitude to Awami-League President and Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. I will discharge my duties with honesty and sincerity,” Nasim said while expressing his reaction for becoming a member of AL local government-nomination board.
On November 11 in 1961, Bahauddin Nasim was born in the Madaripur district. He served as the president of the Madaripur district unit of the Chhatra League. Later, he served as the general secretary and president of the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University unit of the Chhatra League. Then he became a member of the central Chhatra League.
Nasim was the founding president of the Awami Swechchhasebak League. In 1996, when Awami-League formed the government following its victory in the Jatiya Sangsad elections and Nasim became assistant private secretary (APS) of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He served as the organizing secretary of central working committee of AL for three terms and now serving as the joint general secretary of the party for the second time.
