Govt working relentlessly to make sugar industries profitable: Humayun, According to Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, the current administration has been working tirelessly to make the sugar industry profitable and has promising futures. He pleaded with the sugarcane farmers not to give up and assured them that the government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, would succeed in preserving the sugar industry while making a profit off of the labor of the farmers and other workers.

The minister made the statement while discussing farming issues with farmers yesterday evening at Rajshahi Sugar Mills Limited’s training facility, where the company will plant and crush sugarcane for the 2022–23 season.
The Rajshahi Zila Parishad Chairman Valiant Freedom Fighter Meer Iqbal and MP Ayen Uddin also spoke at the event, which was presided over by Arifur Rahman, chairman of the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation.
According to Industries Minister Nurul Majid, by using time-appropriate strategies, all sugar mills will be profitable. He said, “We are trying to get modern equipment and high yielding sugarcane seeds from abroad.
