Light to moderate rain likely
predicted light to moderate rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by a temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 23.8 degree Celsius jointly in Rajarhat and Hatiya, while today’s minimum temperature was 31. degree Celsius in Srimangal.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 121 mm in Chuadanga. The sun sets at 6:04 pm today and rises at 5:44 am tomorrow in the capital.
