AL Agriculture and Cooperatives Affairs Secretary Faridunnahar Laily, Education and Manpower Affairs Secretary Shamsunnahar Chapa, Krishak League President Samir Chandra addressed the rally, among others, with Krishak League’s Dhaka City South unit Convener Abdus Salam Babu in the chair.
Faridunnahar Laily said BNP-Jamaat again started to carry out sabotage to create an unrest situation in the country as like as they did in 2013-14.
On Saturday, BNP activists carried out attacks on police and set buses on fire, she said.“BNP’s terrorist and anarchic activities should be resisted on streets,” she said, urging all leaders and workers of Awami League, Krishak League and other front organizations to stay alert on streets.
After the rally, a protest procession was brought out which paraded different city streets including Gulistan, Noor Hossain Square and Secretariat area and returned to Bangabandhu Avenue.
