Ziaur Rahman had spread the poison of communalism in the state and society by stopping the Bangabandhu’s murderers’ trial, annulling four principles from the Constitution and bringing up the infamous bi-ethnicity in Bangladesh, Inu mentioned.

He said the killers imposed a ban even on uttering the name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as they wanted to erase the name of Bangabandhu, freedom struggle and Liberation War forever.

“They pushed Bangladesh towards the path of Pakistan by reinstating the anti-independence pro-Pakistani Razakar and Al-Badr, the eternal enemy of the Bangladesh state, in society as well as in state-politics,” he added.
