He was accompanied on the visit by local deputy commissioner AKM Galiv Khan, superintendent of police AHM Abdur Rokib, district election officer Md. Motawakkil Rahman, and other authorities. The EC declared, “I have seen the people’s overwhelming desire to exercise their right to vote so that they themselves may use their voting power.” When questioned by the newsmen if he was optimistic about the involvement of all political parties, he responded that the EC lacked goodwill.

“We called all political parties for discussion and exchanging views. Some of them came and others did not come. Yet our door is open for all. If any party comes, we must discuss with them,” the EC added.
He asked the newsmen if it was possible to make an immediate decision by looking at all 3.5 to 4 lakh cameras in response to a query about whether Close Circuit (CC) cameras would be utilized in all the centers of the 300 seats in the upcoming parliamentary election. The Chapainawabganj District Election Office said that information was gathered between August 30 and September 20, 2022, and that registration began on October 1 and would last until November 20.
