At a gathering in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in this city, she was accepting blankets and winter clothing for the PM’s Relief and Welfare Fund from various financial institutions.

In this regard, she cited interviews with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad on a global show, in which Mahathir stated that a stable administration is necessary to ensure a nation’s prosperity.

The event was moderated by PM’s Principal Secretary Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus. Nazrul Islam Majumder, the chairman of the Bankers Association of Bangladesh (BAB), presented a speech of welcome in the presence of officials from various financial organizations, including banks.

The prime minister has been promoting the balanced growth of the nation and for all groups of people, especially the socially underprivileged ones.

The prime minister said that as part of the government’s initiative to include all landless and homeless persons in a housing program, they have provided free homes to members of many disadvantaged communities, including the disabled, transsexual, Bede (gypsy), and leprosy sufferers.

Sheikh Hasina claimed that the country’s advancement was apparent due to her administration’s three straight terms in office since 2009.

No matter where they are in the world or where they are in the social hierarchy, she declared, “We are raising everyone’s standard of living.”

The prime minister commended the BAB for their willingness to work with the government to aid the populace in times of flood, cyclone, draught, and other natural disasters.

 

 

She urged the business community to give more support to the sports and cultural industries so that young people can develop their abilities and stay away from societal vices like terrorism, militancy, drug abuse, and other vices.

She pushed the businesses to hire athletes in their organizations to ease their concern over their financial security.

According to the prime minister, winter is quickly approaching, so her government is taking proactive steps to gather winter clothing and blankets to give those to individuals who may be affected by the cold in advance.
