Kamal inaugurates house building loan management module, At his secretariat office in this city, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today officially launched the House Building Loan Management Module. Speaking at the event, Kamal explained that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s directives were the driving force behind the formulation of the house-building loan distribution policy for public servants through banking channels on July 30, 2018.

Currently, the house building loan distribution operations is going on for the government officials and employees, teachers and other staff of the public universities and University Grants Commission (UGC), for the chief justice and other judges of the Bangladesh Supreme Court, said a Finance Ministry press release today. The finance minister also said that if the loan appeal process could be digitized, then it would resolve many problems and thus save time.
He said that after the loan appeal procedure was digitalized, applicants will be able to submit their applications directly to the Finance Division online. Additionally, the Finance Division can issue an order for the interest subsidy grant in the least amount of time. Among those present at the event, which was presided over by Finance Division Senior Secretary Fatima Yasmin, were Controller General of Accounts Md Nurul Islam, Governor of the Bangladesh Bank Abdur Rouf Talukder, and Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah.
