No benefit in intimidating Sheikh Hasina: Quader

When speaking as the chief guest at the national conference of the Bangabandhu Sainik League at the capital’s Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KBI) Auditorium, Quader, who is also the minister of roads and bridges, made the comments. He said that it appears as though they (BNP leaders) have come to power, Hawa Bhaban is back, and victory procession will be brought onto city streets when he questioned the BNP leaders about why the BNP is on the defensive now before the December 10 program.

The general secretary of the AL claimed that in the past, BNP officials have also threatened to overthrow the government by organizing a movement. He asserted that the BNP is the maestro of the politics of retaliation and that Ziaur Rahman initiated this trend in the nation. According to Quader, the progress and accomplishments made nationwide by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s administration have fueled the BNP leaders’ internal raging.

He claimed that the BNP leaders do not perceive any progress in the administration because they perceive it as nighttime throughout the day. According to Quader, Bangladesh will never move toward uncertainty, even when it appears like the BNP is doing so. In addition to Harunur Rasid, the recently elected president of the Bangabandhu Sainik League, Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, also spoke at the conference, which was presided over by Shirin Ahmed, convener of the Sainik League.
