She said in a message on the eve of the 50th founding anniversary of Jubo League, the youth wing of the ruling Awami League, to be observed tomorrow, “With the spirit of the great Liberation War and indomitable vigor Bangabandhu had ignited and instilled in the hearts of the youth of this country, the Jubo League along with the youth will build a hunger- and poverty-free, happy and prosperous Sonar Bangladesh facing all the conspiracies
She stated, “I extend my deepest greetings and congratulations to all the leaders and workers of the Jubo League on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami Jubo League.
She also honored the founding martyr of the Jubo League, Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani, the greatest Bangalee of all time, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and all the Jubo League leaders and activists who embraced martyrdom in the nation’s democratic movement.
She said, “We got our own nation, state, and proud identity under the powerful, dynamic, fearless, and mystical leadership of the Father of the Nation. Sheikh Hasina stated that the Bangladesh Awami Jubo League was founded with the intention of enlisting the young force in the war-torn nation’s reconstruction.
Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani, a youth activist, founded this organization on orders from Bangabandhu, she said, adding that Jubo League has devoted itself to nation-building efforts ever since this group’s founding.

The prime minister continued by stating that Bangabandhu and the majority of his family members were cruelly murdered on August 15, 1975, while the country was fighting to create a golden Bangladesh free from exploitation and poverty under the leadership of the Father of the Nation.
She said, “The politics of assassinations, coups, and conspiracies began after the deaths of the founding chairman of the Jubo League, Moni, and his expectant wife Arzu Moni.
After coming to office in 2008, the Awami League-led administration, motivated by the spirit of the great Liberation War, has been working relentlessly for the nation’s overall development, according to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The premier claimed that in the previous 14 years, the government had made the desired progress in every area of the nation, and that as a result, Bangladesh now serves as an example of development for the rest of the globe in terms of socioeconomic growth.
She continued by stating that the youth, who make up one-third of Bangladesh’s overall population, have tremendous potential and newfound zeal for the fight against hunger, poverty, and drug use in order to create a “Sonar Bangladesh.”
The leaders and members of the Jubo League have demonstrated new levels of humanity during the COVID-19 epidemic by distributing food to the poor, constructing homes for the displaced, harvesting the rice of the farmers, and offering free medical care.
The premier hoped that by commemorating the Golden Jubilee of the Jubo League, the spirit of the youth’s battle would be more acute and energetic.
